- Western Red Cedar is popular because it’s attractive, durable and naturally resistant to rot, decay and insect attacks which means it’s often used in outdoor applications
- While not an official grade of wood, "Clear" indicates that the lumber is virtually free of knots and visual defects and is suitable for remanufacture to moldings, stairway handrails, trim, cabinet work or a variety of other products where lumber of high appearance is required
